Pocket guide to student housing in Copenhagen
Copenhagen is a popular destination for undergraduate, postgraduate, international, Erasmus and exchange students, with respected universities and a strong cultural scene shaped by design, architecture and sustainability. Students often live in neighbourhoods connected to campus by cycling routes, metro, buses and trains. Finding housing can be challenging because availability is limited, leases may require advance planning, and moving from abroad can make viewings, paperwork and deposits more difficult. Fully furnished student accommodation in Copenhagen offers a practical way to secure a reliable rental without arranging furniture or utilities from overseas.
Blueground properties provide move-in-ready homes with furniture, kitchens, dedicated study areas and high-speed internet for individual students or those sharing with flatmates. Flexible lease lengths can suit term-time stays, Erasmus placements and longer academic programmes, subject to the terms of each property. Homes are located in well-connected areas, making it easier to reach universities, libraries, workplaces and daily services by public transport or bicycle. Depending on the listing, bills and internet may be included, so students should check the rental terms and any local registration or tax requirements before booking.
