Pocket guide to student housing in London
London is a leading student destination, known for world-class universities, research institutions, museums, theatres and a diverse cultural scene. It attracts undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as international students and those taking part in Erasmus or other exchange programmes. Finding housing can be challenging because availability is limited, lease requirements vary and students moving from abroad may need a reliable home before they arrive. Fully furnished student apartments in London offer a straightforward option for students seeking a ready-to-live-in rental without the complexity of furnishing a property remotely.
Blueground properties provide fully furnished homes with move-in-ready kitchens, bedrooms and living areas, along with space for studying and high-speed internet for coursework. Flexible lease lengths can suit term-time arrangements, full academic years or longer stays, while locations near universities and public transport support convenient daily travel. Sharing options may also help students find suitable off-campus accommodation with housemates, and selected homes may offer bills-included rentals. Eligible full-time students should check whether they qualify for a council tax exemption and confirm which services are included in their agreement.

Can I extend my stay with Blueground if I want to stay longer?
If you're a student looking to extend your stay with Blueground, you'll be pleased to know that it's often possible to extend your lease if your academic program continues, subject to availability.
